I am Chris Whittam, a commercial and event photographer based in Wakefield, working across Yorkshire and the whole of the UK. York is a regular run for me: I photographed for Yorkshire Air Ambulance at York Racecourse this summer, and I work with Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate just outside the city, who have booked me four times in the past year. Pricing
Half day £650 plus VAT covers most York events: up to four hours on site, the edited gallery and full commercial usage. A full day is £1,200 plus VAT. Travel within Yorkshire is included. See the day rates page for the detail.
Photographer teams for larger events
For conferences, awards evenings and multi-room events, one camera is not enough. I field photographer teams, project managed end to end: one point of contact, one consistent editing style across every camera, one invoice. Team dress codes, risk assessments and method statements are handled as standard. I have delivered team coverage for national brands including Domino’s, and I work white label for agencies. I can also organise video alongside the photography: my video team is led by a producer with a Masters degree in Media Production, so one booking and one point of contact covers stills and film.
